She is well versed in using this modality for therapy, ever since it was expanded to all Australians in 2019. TelePsych is now permanently funded by Medicare for Psychology rebates. This means you can now access professional psychological therapy conveniently in the comfort of your own home, during a lunch break in the office, vehicle or even while on a walk so you can fit sessions around other busy life commitments without having to travel. It is well suited to people who have restrictions on time and mobility, have been unable to find a compatible Therapist locally or are wanting continuity of care if relocating often.

The American Psychological Association has recognised studies indicating effectiveness of Telehealth in treating various mental health conditions such as Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Substance use, and Adjustment Disorder, whilst further research is required around effectiveness of managing more serious difficulties such as psychotic disorders using this medium.

If you have a phone, tablet or computer, with stable and secure internet access we can arrange appointments so you will receive a call at the time of your booking.
You will receive an email reminder of the appointment the day prior to the appointment.
On the day of appointment you will receive a call or a video link to open at the time agreed.
All you need to do is ensure you are alone, in a private, quiet and safe location for the duration of the appointment, with your device charged, privacy settings with microphone and or visuals setup and network ready.
