By putting the therapeutic relationship at the centre of the therapy, she will create a personalised approach to your therapy that sees, hears and feels you, as a whole person, in the context of your lived experiences and your personal values.
Dr Gill believes that change in therapy arises from your emotional pain being known. Having undergone her own personal therapy, she values the importance of being truly understood, paying close attention to where you have been, where you are now and where you are wanting to go, whichever feels most important to you in any given session, thereby offering a bespoke and personalised service specifically honed to your most pressing needs.
Moving therapy beyond medicalisation or symptom management, often requires a commitment to regular appointments, to allow time and space to unpack underlying mental health issues beneath the surface, with room to overcome these at your own pace. She hopes to aid you in your therapeutic goals, whether focused on insights towards healing, understanding and gaining tools and, or finding meaning to foster change in a way that is significant and authentic to you.
