*You will need to visit your GP To Assess Suitability for a Medicare Referral and ask if they can prepare you a Mental Health Care Plan to receive the lowest cost fee (above) and be clinically eligible for 30 minute appointments (which is not recommended to start with or for some presentations, however, is usually more suitable for later follow up appointments once progress in therapy is demonstrable). Please see the full fee schedule here.
Private Payment
Dr Gill accepts full payment for the sessions if you prefer to pay this way. This may suit you if you are not eligible to a mental health treatment plan and, or do not have private health insurance, or it runs out. It can also suit you if you prefer anonymity from your GP and insurance company.
Private Health Insurance (with Extras)
Dr Gill is considered a "Recognised Provider" for most Private Health Funds, however, you will need to check eligibility with your fund whether this will suffice to claim a rebate. Some Health Funds offer an option to check eligibility simply e.g. https://members.ahm.com.au/find-a-provider . This option may suit you if you prefer anonymity from your GP in consultation and only need a couple of sessions, however, you will need to check your level of cover and limit for Psychology with your Health Fund as this varies. Dr Gill will provide an invoice with the Private Health Cover item number to support you in making a claim.
Medicare Eligible Clients
Dr Gill is a "Medicare Provider". This option will require an appointment with your GP and a Mental Health Referral. You will need to this referral to claim rebates once the full fee has been paid upfront.
NDIS Participants
Dr Gill can work with NDIS "self-managed" and "plan managed" funding arrangements, however, she is not a "registered NDIS Provider for NDIA managed plans". There is no gap payment for NDIS participants.
