Dr Gill uses an integrative approach to prioritise genuine connection and depth to get to the root cause underpinning emotional needs, and to address these with authenticity.
Dr Gill provides a safe space for you to better understand the hurt parts of your psychology, using an evidence based approach to psychotherapy, it is her passion to support you in navigating the emotional terrain of your inner life and social landscape in a way that empowers you.
She understands that trauma can resurface during times of adversity, however, recovery can be achieved by taking an holistic approach, putting the therapeutic relationship at the centre of the therapy space. She values a personalised approach to therapy that sees, hears and feels you, as a whole person, in the context of your lived experiences, including those of care or limitations thereof.
Dr Gill believes that change in therapy arises from your suffering being known, truly understood, in close attention to where you have been, where you are now and where you are wanting to head towards, thereby offering a bespoke service personalised specifically to your needs.
Moving therapy beyond medicalisation or symptom management, often requires a commitment to regular appointments, to allow time and space to unpack underlying issues beneath the surface, with room to overcome these at your own pace and comfort to achieve re-connection, with yourself, your hopes and therapeutic insights towards healing and change in a way that is meaningful and significant to you.
